The Lee Little Collection is known for it's unique fiber based mix media works of art. We have

decided to add to our brand. A jewelry line. In this endeavor it is our aim to capture the verist

moods that we women can find ourselves in at any given moment. Playful, creative, whimsical &

alluring just to name a few. Find yours in our new jewelry line.

This is Turquoise Head another figure form the Synthesis

collection. This is one of my favorite pieces. I'v enjoyed the

whole process, forming the clay creating the texture. The head

and shoulders are supported by a copper armature. The arms

are made of strands of shell disk and the hands are wood.

I think of my work as a synthesis of cultures past, and my

own times as a woman, mother and artist.

Lapis Head is from a collection of figures influenced from African and Asian artifacts. I call this collection Synthesis Figures. Cultural synthesis

is the intertwining of cultures, ideas, and techniques to develop a whole

new way of doing things. These figures are completely hand crafted and

and composed of Lapis, a replica of an antique Asian coin, woven wild grass, wood and the Yoruba brass bead handcast from OldNigeria Africa.
